Tranent Parish Church

Our Church Open Day was on 21st April; a large number of visitors, both local and from further afield, attended. Feedback was very positive; folk were particularly interested in our ancient communion cups.

The second Sunday of each month is an all-age service (children stay in church; no J Club).

A regular monthly group is available for young people in their late teens/20s (S5 and upwards), anyone in this age group will be made very welcome. It's called #fourthfriday and meets every 4th Friday (of course) from 7.30-9.30pm.

Youth Fellowship - Third Sunday of the month 6-8pm in the Church. For more details see the weekly Church notices or contact the minister.

The 2018 Easter services were a great success; a march took place on Good Friday, participants following a large wooden cross to the church - which was decorated with some superb flower arrangements - some photos are in the photo Gallery here.

Toilet Twinning. Our church toilet is twinned with a latrine in Central African Republic. Doing this helps maintenance and development of a toilet facility there.

An updated version of the church history booklet has been launched. Copies are avaiable from the church or from the public library at only 1.50.

Check out our Galleries page, see photos of the church and various events.
